All of us in the WAHC love the sport of hockey and we see how hockey benefits our children physically, emotionally and mentally.  We recognize how important playing youth hockey can be to our children and we strive to provide the opportunity to play hockey to every child who wants to play.

We realize that playing youth hockey is expensive and we understand the financial burden that it places on our families.   Through the generosity of our members and sponsors, WAHC is able to offer some financial assistance to support families who want their child(ren) to continue to enjoy the benefits of playing youth hockey, but may not have the financial means to do so.

If you are faced with a financial hardship and are seeking financial assistance with your player’s season fees, please submit a completed WAHC Financial Assistance Program Guidelines & Application to the WAHC Administrator.

Financial aid determinations are made at the start of the season.  We have a limited budget for scholarships and the number / amount of assistance that is given in each season depends upon final player registrations and the success of our hosted tournaments, spirit-wear sales and sponsorship commitments.
