WAHC Members and Coaches:

This message is directed to all members and coaches who are interested in coaching for the Woodbury Area Hockey Club (either as a head coach or an assistant coach) for the upcoming 2016-17 season.

Each year WAHC has a strong need for coaches at ALL levels.  Our coaches are key contributors to our player development both on and off the ice. We encourage all with an interest in helping mentor and shape our young athletes to continue to coach or consider becoming a coach.  Coaching is extremely rewarding and provides you with the opportunity to make a difference in our kids’ lives.  The kids forget the games after the season is over but they remember the coach for the rest of their lives!

We are requesting that all WAHC coaches and anyone interested in coaching complete one of the following Coaching Candidate Application Forms by May 31, 2016 – a long form application - if you are new to coaching in the WAHC or if you have coached with the WAHC but have not completed a long form in a previous season, and a short form application - if you completed a long form in a prior season. Applications will be reviewed and coaching interviews for open coaching positions will start in early June.

There are two candidate application forms – a short form for those coaches who previously coached with the Club and completed a long form, and the long form for any new coaches or those who did not complete the form last year.  If you are unsure whether you completed the long form previously, please email us at administration@woodburyhockey.com and we can confirm the form.
