WAHC Equipment

Behind the scene the Equipment Team is busy working to make sure our teams are well equiped. It is no small effort.  This team handles over 1,600 jerseys, 50 sets of goalie equipment, 150 termite bags, coaches jackets, pucks, first aid kits, rink dividers and so on.

Squirt/10U and Higher Goalie Equipment

Important Goalie Equipment Check-out Date:  Wednesday August 17, 2011 – 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We’d like to welcome all of our new and returning Squirt/10U and higher goalies to the 2011-2012 season!  As goalie parents, we are very fortunate that our hockey club supports the development of our goalies, including providing some equipment.  The Club provides leg pads, chest protector, blocker glove and catch glove.  Over the past three seasons, we have made an effort to upgrade much of our equipment.  We do our best to equip our goalies in the best gear that we have available.  That said, we can’t guarantee what brand, color or age of equipment will be issued to you.  Our primary concern is that each goalie using Club equipment has gear that fits and is safe.

The Check-Out Process
We check out gear at the beginning of the season.  At the end of the season, we will have a return/check-out event.  At that time, you can return your equipment, or you can re-check your equipment (or check out a different size) for the summer and next season.  Most of the goalies from the Squirt/10U level up participate in some type of camp or hockey program during the summer and this allows the goalies to have gear with them to train during the off-season.

Our Fall Check-Out Event will be Wednesday August 17, 2011 – 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bielenberg Sports Center (Multi-purpose room).  At check-out, you will be required to complete an equipment check-out form and provide a $150 deposit (we do not process the deposit unless the gear isn’t returned).

If you checked-out gear with us in the spring, you are good-to-go.  If you no longer need the gear, please return it so we can get it to someone else.
