Hello WAHC Coaches - 

Thank you for your interest in coaching with us.  Our coaches make the season for our players! Our coaches are key contributors to our players' development and to their overall hockey experience. The kids forget the games after the season is over but they remember their coaches for the rest of their lives! Thank you for making a difference!

With the 23-24 season right around the corner. We wanted to let you know that  we are now accepting coach applications for the upcoming season. We encourage anyone with an interest in helping mentor and shape our young athletes to consider coaching with us. 

If you are interested, please complete a Coaching Application Survey Form by August 15, 2023 linked below and on our website-Coaching Application page. There are two coaching candidate application forms –

1. an abbreviated returning coach form for those coaches who previously coached with the Club, and 
2. the new coach form for any new coaches or any coach who did not complete a coaching application-survey in the previous season.

Submitting a coaching survey does not obligate you to coach; these application surveys give us current contact information and your preference in coaching and help us identify possible gaps in coaching support. 

Applications will be reviewed by the WAHC Hockey Committee. Head Coach candidates that are new to WAHC and non-parent coaches will be contacted by the Hockey Group directly in August/September. Returning parent coaches will be contacted regarding their specific coaching interest once their player(s) move through the tryout/assessment process and are identified by level.
