About US

Welcome to the Woodbury Area Hockey Club!

The Woodbury Area Hockey Club (WAHC) is a non profit 501(c)(3), volunteer run youth hockey association serving youths that live in or attend school in the cities of Woodbury, Newport and Afton assigned to ISD 833. The WAHC is a member of District 8-- an affiliate of Minnesota Hockey.

We offer programs for boys and girls ages 3- high school. The various levels of play and birth date ranges can be found on our Season Registration page.

The WAHC also offers first year skaters the opportunity to try hockey.  The Intro to Hockey program includes 8-one hour clinics primarily on the Saturdays & Sundays in the Fall.  The cost is $80 for the full session and you can even use our gear at no cost.

These skaters then have the option to continue on in our MiniMites/6U or Mite/8U programs depending on their age.  Skaters ready for a bit more hockey but who are not old enough to play MiniMites/6U now have the opportunity to participate in our TERMITES program.  Our TERMITES program is geared toward those first year skaters coming off of Intro To Hockey.  It includes 1-hr clinics on Sundays beginning in November and running through February.

Our Board members are here to serve you.  The WAHC Board meets monthly and invites all of our members to attend these meetings - to hear first-hand the plans and work-in-progress for our Club, and to get your direct input on what's working and what's not.
