Position Opening: Head Coach - BN A, PW AA, PW A

Woodbury Area Hockey Club

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Coaches to lead our Bantam A, PeeWee AA, and PeeWee A teams for the upcoming season. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of the game, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to developing players both on and off the ice. 

Responsibilities:

• Plan and run effective practices and training sessions
• Develop game strategies and manage in-game decisions
• Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-oriented environment
• Mentor players to support their athletic and personal growth
• Coordinate with assistant coaches, staff, and league officials
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all players
• Follow and abide by the WAHC Coach Conduct policies

Qualifications:

• Prior coaching experience (preferably at competitive/high school/college level)
• Strong knowledge of hockey rules, tactics, and player development
• Effective communication and motivational skills
• Coaching certification (USA Hockey or equivalent) required

Position Type: Full-Time Seasonal

Location: Woodbury, MN 

Start Date: September 2025
