WAHC offers a TERMITES program for preschool-aged 1st year skaters who have completed our Fall INTRO TO HOCKEY program.  

TERMITES:

• Targeted to preschool-aged (born after 5/31/2018) 1st year skaters with some skating experience and who have completed a session of our INTRO TO HOCKEY. 
• 1 ice hour per week (primarily on Sunday)
• Individual skill development with the ADM model 
• A focus on FUN 
• Cross ice games

·         AGE:  Boys and Girls born after 5/31/2018 

·         REGISTRATION FEE:  $150

·         SEASON: The season begins early November and ends late February.

·         PRACTICES:   @15 indoor practices on designated Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Practices are designed to get players to become comfortable on the ice, learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges and how to hold a stick before moving into a learn to play level.  It’s important for these players to become comfortable on the ice, learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges and how to hold a stick before moving into our 8 and Under program at Woodbury.
